SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager with 4–5+ years of hands-on experience managing IT environments. This role will lead the internal IT function, oversee company infrastructure, and coordinate closely with an external Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology operations across all U.S. facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in server management, Azure cloud environments, network infrastructure, and enterprise user support. This role will lead the internal IT function, oversee company infrastructure, and coordinate closely with an external Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology operations across all U.S. facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in server management, Azure cloud environments, network infrastructure, and enterprise user support. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day‑to‑day IT operations across all company locations
- Serve as the primary internal IT lead while coordinating with the external Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Manage and maintain company servers, infrastructure, and cloud environments (including Microsoft Azure)
- Oversee network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity across sites
- Ensure system reliability, uptime, backups, and disaster recovery readiness
- Provide advanced technical support for escalated user issues across hardware, software, and network systems
- Manage Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and security policies across systems
- Support and maintain VoIP phone systems and communication platforms
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and IT projects
- Work with vendors and technology partners to maintain service contracts and support agreements
- Monitor system performance, security updates, and compliance with company IT policies
- Document infrastructure, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Recommend improvements to enhance system performance, security, and scalability
Requirements:
- 4–5+ years of experience in System Administration, IT Infrastructure, or similar role
- Strong experience managing Windows servers and enterprise IT environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including switching, routing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Experience managing backups, security updates, and system monitoring
- Ability to coordinate and manage work with external MSP or IT service providers
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support technical and non‑technical users
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Eligibility:
- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of firewall and security infrastructure
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, etc.)
- IT certifications such as Microsoft, Azure Admini
